blown-out-candles-1505000

Becoming burned out does not happen overnight but overtime. The causes of drainage can come from investing or pouring so much time and energy into people, jobs, tasks and daily routines that it becomes exhausting. It can also be a manifestation of giving your all; only not to receive any results or appreciation for your efforts. No matter how hard you try to do the right thing, it just seems that evil is always present. So what do you do when you feel like you cannot take anymore? What do you do when it feels like your best isn’t enough? What do you do when it nothing is going the way you plan nor expected? Continue reading

Keep it Together….Don’t Collapse

Keep it all together when everything is fallen apart. This is a test of how much courage, strength, growth and wisdom that you have gained along the way. There will be things that will come from all corners and directions that will attack you. (Sometimes out of no where). It is written in Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Behind every negative force of energy and attack is something that is spiritual. Even when you have every reason to quit or give up, remain standing. Do not give anyone or anything your power. You are much stronger than you think you are, especially with God’s strength. Don’t fall apart. Keep your mind together, for you are more than a conqueror. Pass the test during the trial. Everything happens for a reason. When it’s all over, you will be standing victorious. The blessings will outweigh the pain, stress, rejection, loneliness, frustration and anger. Always go to your secret place and allow him to guard and protect you. There is greater and more on the way for you! Allow God to be the band that holds you together. Don’t collapse.

Dependable?

nice-1381075

The word dependable means trustworthy and reliable. It’s difficult in this time and age to put your trust into something or someone without being let down. Trust God as your rock and safety. If you are place in a situation in where others can mostly rely on you and not the other way around at times, it just means that God can trust you to handle more. It may appear as unfair or as a burden, but his plan is bigger than your emotions. He always prepares you for where you’re going. There is someone who is depending on you to survive, just as Joseph preserved his family and the land of Egypt from famine. Jesus came so that we may have life more abundantly.

It is written in Matthew 2:16: “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men”.

Mankind needed his survival in order to live. Your assignment will require for someone to depend on your survival. Someone is counting on you to make it. You shall live and not die. He preserved Moses, Joshua, and David for his assignment; as so he will with you. That’s why you cannot become tired and weary. There is someone who is depending on your story to bring them out of their famine, bondage and persecution. He will give you power and strength to handle the pressure. All things come from him that is above.

The Power of No

stock-photo-44766292-mountain-landscape

The word no can be bold, direct and even uncomfortable. God’s no is protection. No matter how frustrated or impatient you are, look at it as an honor. You’re so special in his sight that he will run the risk of your pain to protect you. Believe or not, some people don’t have that privilege or that form of favor. For example, he will answer yes to some people’s prayer just to show them that it’s not what they wanted or thought. Why go through any unnecessary stress, pressure, or work? He loves you so much that he doesn’t want you to experience that. Think about a child who wants too much candy. Out of love, care and responsibility, their parents will tell them no, despite how much their feelings are hurt. God is the same way. It’s better to just listen and obey the voice of the LORD no matter what his answer is at the moment. His ways are higher than our ways and his thinking is better than our ways. A closed door is better than an open door that leads to destruction. His no’s are just as important as the yes. See it as no harm or strange thing. You are favored beyond measure! ♥
