The Magnifying Glass of Deceit

magnifying-glass-1020141_1920

The word magnify can be defined as to make (something) appear larger than it is, especially with a lens or microscope. You can be on the right road and not feel like it. The devil will try to give you an illusion on how “everyone” is so much ahead of you. You can actually be on the right road and path, but there are people who are secretly insecure who will try to “boost” themselves up to make it appear as if you’re the one that’s doing something wrong. Here is where the illusion sets in, you can be headed in the correct direction that your supposed to be in, but someone can make a false impression about how things are going for them in order to attempt to make you feel less than. The truth is that they have to magnify (not in confidence) who they are, because they are the ones who are unhappy and broken within.

Be comfortable in knowing who you are. The devil will always try to twist and distort the meaning of God’s word. He attempted to do the same thing to Jesus when he was walking in the wilderness. He twist Eve’s perception on the tree of  knowledge by lying. If he doesn’t deceive you by words or temptation, then he will deceive you by painting a false narrative and perspective. He will try to turn the truth into a lie and a lie into the truth. When you don’t have something that you desire at the moment, the devil will maximize it to make it look greater than what it really is or what it appears.

Watch out for that Magnifying glass of deceit. The devil will always try to make you believe that you are missing out on whatever it is that you don’t have yet. Sometimes, we put greater emphasis and size things up to a greater extent, because we don’t have it right now. We tend to forget that there is a major difference between reality vs an idea.  (Sometimes reality vs illusion). The reality of what we want before its time will come with consequences, sorrows, and many cost along the way. We may not feel the way that we think we will feel, once we are actually in the situation. (Or rebelling by taking matters into our own hands).

Remember that the enemy will try to gloss up what you don’t have and will promise that the grass is greener, when really he will just promise glitter.  He will highlight and maximize anything you don’t have to make it appear bigger and more. Please do not fall into this snare and trap. For example, how many people rush into marriage because it was something that they currently don’t have. (Nothing wrong with the desire, but when we do not love ourselves nor have the peace and contentment within us, then it will appear as if it’s something we need in order to be fulfilled which becomes an idol). Wait your time. The LORD rewards those who waits patiently and faithfully for him.

Remember that whatever it is that you want, is always going to seem like it is more than what it really is because don’t you have it. This could apply to finances, career/job promotions or any form of elevation in life. Be cautious to not get so caught up into what you don’t have. Use this time as preparation for this is a training grounds. Do not fall prey to an illusion that will not cause fulfillment. Only Jesus can completely fulfill us. Allow everything in your life to fall in place. He will reward those who stay diligently seeking him. as well as those who continue to endure until the end. The devil will always make something appear the opposite of what it is. Do not fall of for the magnifying glass of deceit.

It is written in Proverbs 11:13 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them”.

Building From the Ground Up

ground-1507817

Sometimes it’s important to start fresh. Building from the ground up is not easy. It’s much more difficult than starting with a template or blueprint. There are going to be a countless amount of trial and errors along the way. Building from the ground up also requires more faith and patience. (Since most of the time it won’t be overnight). Once the final product is finished and established, it will be worth all the hard work, effort, risk and commitment you invested. Your hard work and seeds of faith will pay off.

Don’t get discouraged because it didn’t happen in your timing. God always does things in decency and order. He does everything in perfection. There is no need to rush your come up. Your too special to be rushed! Remember he is always on time. When your building from the ground up, don’t be surprise when there are some people who won’t support or help you. This is to only test the motives and the intentions of those who are around you. He is sparing you from the leeches.

What better way to expose someone’s motives when you are in the beginning stages of pursing your dreams, passion, goals or vision? (This can refer to careers, businesses, relationships and education etc.). Everybody is with you during the stages of success, but can they hang during the times when there is no harvest? Be thankful and grateful unto God that he is showing you and revealing who is truly for you. This also makes you aware of the real reasons why you are doing what you love. If there were no financial gain nor reward for it, would you still be able to carry out with his assignment and will for your life?

Yes, there will be days of frustration. Yes, there will be days in where you will wake up and ask yourself is it worth it? Yes, there will be days in where quitting looks good but I’m here to tell you, DON’T GIVE UP! You can’t and you have no option. That shall not be spoken of nor thought of. You shall fill your mind with his words of truth and peace. The devil cannot win. Don’t allow even the smallest doubt in your mind. Remember that he will not put more on you than you can bear. You can handle the pressure and challenge.

The blessings that comes from building from the ground up without any help, is that you do not owe anyone anything. All credit goes to God. It also removes all the people who only want to connect with you because of what you have or what you are affiliated with. It teaches you how to fully trust and rely on God.

Whatever it is that you may be building from the ground up, always know that God is with you every step of the way. It may not be easy and it will be painful at times, but he will be by your side. Again, do not be discouraged. It shall come to pass, it shall come to pass!! Amen.

Dependable?

nice-1381075

The word dependable means trustworthy and reliable. It’s difficult in this time and age to put your trust into something or someone without being let down. Trust God as your rock and safety. If you are place in a situation in where others can mostly rely on you and not the other way around at times, it just means that God can trust you to handle more. It may appear as unfair or as a burden, but his plan is bigger than your emotions. He always prepares you for where you’re going. There is someone who is depending on you to survive, just as Joseph preserved his family and the land of Egypt from famine. Jesus came so that we may have life more abundantly.

It is written in Matthew 2:16: “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men”.

Mankind needed his survival in order to live. Your assignment will require for someone to depend on your survival. Someone is counting on you to make it. You shall live and not die. He preserved Moses, Joshua, and David for his assignment; as so he will with you. That’s why you cannot become tired and weary. There is someone who is depending on your story to bring them out of their famine, bondage and persecution. He will give you power and strength to handle the pressure. All things come from him that is above.

Don’t Allow Your Passion to Die

dreams

Make all the neccesary efforts to to keep your dream alive. If you have to use pictures, notes, recordings, or whatever tool that keeps you mentally inclined to your dream, then do so. Take action of some form. No matter how much time has gone by; young or old; it’s not too late. Don’t allow excuses to hold you back from your potential. There is so much that God has place within you, that he will not allow his investment to go to waste. So what if every one may have told you could or not do. Allow your seed of faith to grow into a harvest of abundance. Give him what you have in your hand, so that he can stretch it and multiply it. His strength is made strong in weakness. He can always use what you have left. Don’t allow your passion to die and wither away. Plant your dream with seeds of faith and patience. Is there anything that is impossible for him? No there is not.♥♥♥

Always Put In Your Best: Striving For Perfection!

do your best_1Always put in your best and nothing less. Whether it’s your craft, gift or job; put in your best work. Allow nothing to go to waste. Although we are not perfect, it doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t strive for perfection. If we are putting in our best in other areas such as our careers, school or fitness life, then we should always put in our best with our spiritual life. That is the foundation of who we are. Giving him the highest honor of how we live, is part of putting in our best effort. It is written in Numbers 18:29 (KJV): that Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof”. When we give the LORD all that we have which includes our heart, mind, body and soul, we are giving him our best. Put your all into everything you do even when it looks like your fallen. Our job is to not perfect ourselves through our own natural strength, but through JESUS. Give him the glory in everything you do, our strengths and gifts are not for us, but for him. Focus on being the best you can be and leave the rest up to him. Nothing less than 100% 🙂
