Get Back In The Game: 2022

Its never too late to get back started. No matter how many times you get knocked back down, you must keep going. You must keep going through all of the discomfort, uneasiness, and hardships. Allow him to make you stronger than all of your greatest weakness. Allow him to make you stronger than all of your surroundings, circumstances and all that may try to take you down. You are still a champion, even you don’t feel like one. You are still one of a kind. Get back up and dust your self off. You still have an assignment and purpose to complete. If you feel as if you have been knocked down so many times over and over again, please know that despite of what you’ve been put through, its never too late. No matter how behind you feel or how long things may take, get back up! Even if you feel as if you have to start over, get back up. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing, get back up! The later years will be greater than your former. It is not over from you. No matter how much it may appears as if you are behind in whatever situation, get back up!

You may not be liked, but get back up. You may not be their favorite, but get back up. You may not get the support that you may feel like you need, but get back up. Allow THE LORD to strengthen you in all areas. Despite the circumstances that you may face, you have everything you already need. He has already equipped you with the tools of victory to win. You just need to stay in the race. The word says

Ecclesiastes 9:11 states: "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all".

It is those who finishes and endures until the end, that wins the race. You may feel discouraged, tired, drained and sometimes feel as if you have no reason to continue, but don’t allow internal or external circumstances to win. Challenges were meant to make you better. Getting back up may not be easy, but its another opportunity to grow, evolve or learn something that you didn’t know before. Getting knocked down hurts, but do not allow that feeling to be the determining factor of deciding whether or not to continue on. The joy, peace and reward at the end will be worth it.

The process that you may feel that no one else has to go through, will not only create and establish golden treasures & gems within you; but will strengthen you to advance on a higher level that you would not have been able to handle or receive without going through the process. No matter how much you may feel left behind, your steps are still ordered! Nothing just happens. This is not the end, but the beginning. Remember that the best is yet to come. Finish out your process. No matter how much trouble it seems that you are having, remember that God’s chosen sometimes will have to endure a little more because of what he is preparing them for. *They will receive as twice as much more for all of the trouble that they had to endured*.

The Little Things Matter đŸ˜Š

Be gracious of the small things, for the smaller things shall be apart of the greater things to come. Every piece of the puzzle counts. Every piece of your life is essential for the next steps and levels in your journey. Don’t despise the day of humble beginnings. The little things do matter. Again, don’t discard your seasons of development and process. It is there to make you better and stronger.

Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see a lot of results or growth within a certain time. Rushed results doesn’t create longevity. Rushed results can also lead to dead ends. It robs you of the full potential that you are capable of reaching. Skipping the process can lead to limitations. Be careful of shortcuts. Be thankful and grateful of what you have to go through. Allow the LORD to create unmovable faith meaning no matter what you endure, you shall not crumble nor be destroyed.

Take advantage of the benefits that come from waiting. Waiting presents the opportunity and gift of enhancing your knowledge. It also gives you the chance to polish your skill set. Continue to be creative. Increase your health, joy, happiness and peace. Work to become the best you and improving yourself in every way. đŸŒč It is written in Job 8:7: “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase”.

Embrace your beginnings, for the best is still yet to come 👌

The Magnifying Glass of Deceit

magnifying-glass-1020141_1920

The word magnify can be defined as to make (something) appear larger than it is, especially with a lens or microscope. You can be on the right road and not feel like it. The devil will try to give you an illusion on how “everyone” is so much ahead of you. You can actually be on the right road and path, but there are people who are secretly insecure who will try to “boost” themselves up to make it appear as if you’re the one that’s doing something wrong. Here is where the illusion sets in, you can be headed in the correct direction that your supposed to be in, but someone can make a false impression about how things are going for them in order to attempt to make you feel less than. The truth is that they have to magnify (not in confidence) who they are, because they are the ones who are unhappy and broken within.

Be comfortable in knowing who you are. The devil will always try to twist and distort the meaning of God’s word. He attempted to do the same thing to Jesus when he was walking in the wilderness. He twist Eve’s perception on the tree of  knowledge by lying. If he doesn’t deceive you by words or temptation, then he will deceive you by painting a false narrative and perspective. He will try to turn the truth into a lie and a lie into the truth. When you don’t have something that you desire at the moment, the devil will maximize it to make it look greater than what it really is or what it appears.

deceive-1299043_1280

Watch out for that Magnifying glass of deceit. The devil will always try to make you believe that you are missing out on whatever it is that you don’t have yet. Sometimes, we put greater emphasis and size things up to a greater extent, because we don’t have it right now. We tend to forget that there is a major difference between reality vs an idea.  (Sometimes reality vs illusion). The reality of what we want before its time will come with consequences, sorrows, and many cost along the way. We may not feel the way that we think we will feel, once we are actually in the situation. (Or rebelling by taking matters into our own hands).

Remember that the enemy will try to gloss up what you don’t have and will promise that the grass is greener, when really he will just promise glitter.  He will highlight and maximize anything you don’t have to make it appear bigger and more. Please do not fall into this snare and trap. For example, how many people rush into marriage because it was something that they currently don’t have. (Nothing wrong with the desire, but when we do not love ourselves nor have the peace and contentment within us, then it will appear as if it’s something we need in order to be fulfilled which becomes an idol). Wait your time. The LORD rewards those who waits patiently and faithfully for him.

Remember that whatever it is that you want, is always going to seem like it is more than what it really is because don’t you have it. This could apply to finances, career/job promotions or any form of elevation in life. Be cautious to not get so caught up into what you don’t have. Use this time as preparation for this is a training grounds. Do not fall prey to an illusion that will not cause fulfillment. Only Jesus can completely fulfill us. Allow everything in your life to fall in place. He will reward those who stay diligently seeking him. as well as those who continue to endure until the end. The devil will always make something appear the opposite of what it is. Do not fall of for the magnifying glass of deceit.

It is written in Proverbs 11:13 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them”.

The Sun will Shine Again

cosmos-2804339_1280

In order to grow, it is vital have rain as much as sun however, sometimes the rain can be overbearing and overwhelming. We can also receive more rain than sun in our life which means that we can be over drained, drowned and washed out. Too much excessive rain can cause plants to decay, wilt and perish *(Grant, n.d.)*. The rain in our lives can symbolize unfortunate events, depression and pain.  It is important to remember that trouble does not last always. Happiness is a choice. The joy of the Lord shall be our strength. Psalms 30:5 says “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

Whatever your going through, hold on to his word. Allow the rain to push you to be stronger. Allow the Lord to be your safety float in the midst of the storms and floods. Rain pours on the just and the unjust. Don’t allow the pressures of the rain to choke out your hope, joy, peace and happiness. Don’t allow the rain to close up your heart to stop you from living and loving again. I pray that the rays of sunshine appears in the darkest depths of your mind, body and soul. Better days are still coming and always remember the best is yet to come. Another day on earth is another chance to get it right. He has not given up on you nor should you give up on yourself. The trials and persecutions are only temporary. The rain shall have no reign over you. Again hold on to the foundation of his word which is sharper than a two-edge sword. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is also the light in a dark place.

Allow him to be the sunshine in the midst of your rain. The beauty, growth, strength and blossoming into a greater creation will be all worth it. What you waiting for? Today is a new day ♄

2 Samuel 23:4: “And [he shall be] as the light of the morning, [when] the sun riseth, [even] a morning without clouds; [as] the tender grass [springing] out of the earth by clear shining after rain”.

Matthew 5:45: “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust”.

The Mini Lessons & Themes of Watching Black Panther

panther-1516010_1920 (1)

Normally, I don’t really blog about movies. But just like the Karate Kid and many others, the Lord can use movies to give you messages. (Sometimes even cartoons). The movie was nothing less than amazing. The actresses and actors all did an outstanding job. The movie also kept the audience interest and attention throughout the entire film. (I hope that they do another sequel). If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend and suggest that you do. Bring your entire family if possible :).

There are many lessons but I am just going to point a few out that are not in any particular order:

Everyone wants a title, but titles come with a lot of responsibilities. Kings and Queens are not just there to appear “cute”. Kings and Queens have presence. There is a certain manner, honor and respect that they must conduct themselves in however, it’s not just about image. Kings and Queens have a lot of responsibilities and pressure upon them. They have power, but a lot of pressure and the weight of the kingdom upon them. When you are a boss or CEO, you not only have the pressures of the livelihood of the company upon your back, but the external issues that can effect the environment in which can come against the business. You must have the intellect, wisdom, knowledge and heart to do whats best to protect the people and your company. You must always be a quick thinker, problem solver and risk taker because things do not always go as plan. The bible says in Luke 12:48: For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more“. Can you handle the sacrifices, challenges and the requirements that comes with a higher position of power?

Never forget where you came from. Sometimes when we make progress and can be in a season where we may have a little more than our previous seasons. Although you may not be where you want to be and its better than where you were, its important to still remember the struggles and challenges in where it took to get there. Don’t leave the people who were there for you in your humble beginnings. Use your blessings and resources to help someone else even when you don’t have much. (Even if that means volunteering, donating clothes, money or buying lunch for someone). It doesn’t take much just do what you can do. It is written in Matthew 25:35-36: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me”.

Loyalty. (This is another chapter and topic that I would have to expand on one day). As matter of fact I think I will :). The loyalty within the community as a whole should be so strong, that they are willing to perish for it. (#Wakandaforever). A kingdom can fall from division lies, secrets and unloyalty. For example, what keeps a city functioning? The people. What keeps a city flourishing? The people. What keeps a successful business thriving? The people. You cannot buy true loyalty and honor. Even when people who disguise themselves as friends in your inner circle betray you, there should just be a few remnant of real loyal people to fight for your behalf. Even if there isn’t, God will fully vindicate you and fight for you, for the battle is not yours. The people who are the closest to you as well as family members can be some of the most dangerous wolves in sheep’s clothing. Again this will have to be a chapter all by itself. Ask God for the ability to discern and the strength to distant yourself. If a person is not loyal to God, he/she will not be loyal to you. Loyalty is what keeps a power dominion of fruitful relationships, establishments and wealth. It is one of the qualities and characteristics that will help a community prosper in all areas.  It is written in Proverbs 17:17: “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity”. Proverbs 18:24: “A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother”. Matthew 26:35: “Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples”.

Bitterness. This needs to be a blog topic all by itself, but I will touch on it since it is one of the many themes/lessons of the movie. What doesn’t heal within you will destroy you. No matter how strong or powerful you are, if you do not work on yourself nor get the necessary amount of help that you need for your healing, (Which is not over night, but takes time). Not only will you destroy the relationships around you but you die from the poison that is inside of you. What may have happened was not fair and ruthless, but you are not victim. You are more than a conqueror. Please do whatever you have to do in order to get the healing you need. Please spend time with your creator. Don’t be upset with him, instead pull closer. You are a walking ministry and a vessel who can be used to help others to become delivered out of those same traps. Don’t become a trophy for the wrong team. It is written in 1 Samuel 1:10: And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”. Job 21:25: “And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure”.

Kings want strong women. The king was surrounded by powerful and articulate women. This is definitely a topic to tackle by itself in which I will cover soon. (Whether in a blog or book). He had strong and loyal women that could help him through his mission/assignments. Again Kings don’t run from strong women, they gravitate towards them. A king is very confident and secure within himself and does not feel like your brilliance, personality, presence or accomplishments is a threat to his ego, instead it compliments who he is. Kings are not intimidated by strong women, instead they are interested in someone who can bring so much to offer to the table. Queens brings so much more to the table than appearance, clothes and materialism. An insecure man runs from strong women, kings don’t. Kings like challenges and they are not ran off by them. It is written in Proverbs 31:10: Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies”.

If you haven’t seen the movie, what are you waiting for! Get to it ❀ 🙂

Be the Best You that You can Be!

workspace-2985783_1920

It’s important to be yourself. If God has called you to do something, then you must do it. There will always be obstacles and challenges along the way. You cannot allow the fear of others or what may happen to deter you from what you have been called to do. The jealousy and the lack of support will come. There will be people who will not be able to continue the journey with you. These are all of the things and events that will occur. See it not a strange thing. It is all an indication that you are walking in the right path. You cannot make everyone happy neither is it your assignment to do so. Some people can become uncomfortable and intimidated by what you have to offer.

The greatness on your life is so strong that you don’t need the numbers, approval nor validation from man in order to continue to pursue God’s will for your life. This is not regarding nor referring to material/financial possession, but his purpose. No matter what constant changes you may face, endure until the end. Your steps are still ordered no matter how many times you have fallen off. Endure until the end. Be faithful over a few things, so he can make you a great ruler of many. The capacity and the amount of responsibility that he wants to entrust you will be greater, so the process may appear slower for you than most people. Endure until the end. The waiting time is a training ground that you must use to prepare yourself for whats to come. Anything worth having will not be easy, again endure until the end. Be the best you, you can be. You were made for this!

Matthew 24:13: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved“.

1 Peter 4:12: “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you”.

Proverbs 18:24 “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother“.

He Did Not Forsake You: Keep Fighting

ray-of-light-1379524

It’s important to leave all old things behind. All former things have passed away. Remove all negative energy and distractions. If you fall, always get back up. The enemy’s plan is for you to get discouraged and to give up. Always remember that giving up is not an option. He will make a lie more believable and appealing than the truth. Sometimes the lie will appear as the truth, but that’s why you must hold on to God’s word. There will be many times in where it will look as if God has forsaken you, but that’s only lie. Hang on and hold on to God’s promises. Fight for your happiness, joy and peace ♄.

hiking-up-mnt-robson-1190597

Allow him to strengthen you in your weakest moments. Don’t stop believing in the dreams and visions that he gave you just because it hasn’t came to past yet. He is not a man that shall lie. Allow him to restore your vision even if it has gotten a little blurry. Refresh and renew your mind. Have the fight and strength to get back up. Have the courage to keep going. Through your failure keep going. Through pain and rejection keep going. He is still with you. Your current reality does not determine where you will stay. Fight for your vision, dreams and goals. Enjoy the journey along the way. His plan is perfect although it won’t feel perfect. (Sometimes it will look crazy). He is not only testing your faith, but your patience. It will all pay off. Extreme measures equate to extreme blessings. Don’t wait for no one’s affirmation in order to keep going. It’s still going to work out for your good and his glory ♄♄.

Be Not Entangled

entanglement-1402305

It is written in Galatians 5:1: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage”. The word entangled means to be caught up or twisted in circumstances that are difficult to escape. When a spider trap it’s prey, it is entangled in a web waiting to be devoured. We must not be deceived or controlled by anything or anyone.

Whatever control us is what owns us. We can be entangled in something and not know it or be in denial. The Lord will always provide a way of escape out of your bondage. Do not follow the lust of the flesh. This can apply to any unclean area of our lives.

Galatians 5:16: says “This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”. Becoming untangled takes work and just like with anything it’s a process. Whatever you don’t rid of will get rid of you. Whatever you don’t deal with now will always come back later. The Lord will provide a way out. Sometimes you must go through what you have to. The process will be messy, but it will be all for his glory.

He will always give you ashes for beauty. Do not be entangled. His power is much greater than your circumstance and weaknesses. He has the power to make you free from anything that is holding you back. Cling on to his word. Sometimes we can hold our own selves internally back due to our past or present experiences.

It is written in Matthew 11:28: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. Let go of all your heavy burdens and cast all cares upon him. Allow him to remove any chains and strongholds that may have you entangled. He’s waiting 🙂

1 Step at a Time (Change)

change

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD. Progress takes time. Everything is a process. Everything has a particular time and setting. Whenever you are in a process there are steps and transitions to getting where you want to be. Real change does not happen overnight or within 24 hours. Begin with small changes. If you can not walk in the steps, then crawl if you have to. (Remember everything is a process). After crawling, you may fall while your walking, but continue to get back up. Believe or not falling is a part of the process. When you are able to stand and walk, then you can jog. After jogging you will be able to finally run.

Real change is not smooth, but sometimes uncomfortable. Your pathway was designed for you to not only overcome, but to strive as the winner you are. Remove the negative thoughts and all forms of hindrance that’s fighting your progress to change. Everything including dreams, accomplishments, dating and etc. begins with a step. Take things one step at a time, real change is not overnight.  It is written in Proverbs 4:12: “When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble“.
