The Sun will Shine Again

In order to grow, it is vital have rain as much as sun however, sometimes the rain can be overbearing and overwhelming. We can also receive more rain than sun in our life which means that we can be over drained, drowned and washed out. Too much excessive rain can cause plants to decay, wilt and perish *(Grant, n.d.)*. The rain in our lives can symbolize unfortunate events, depression and pain.  It is important to remember that trouble does not last always. Happiness is a choice. The joy of the Lord shall be our strength. Psalms 30:5 says “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

Whatever your going through, hold on to his word. Allow the rain to push you to be stronger. Allow the Lord to be your safety float in the midst of the storms and floods. Rain pours on the just and the unjust. Don’t allow the pressures of the rain to choke out your hope, joy, peace and happiness. Don’t allow the rain to close up your heart to stop you from living and loving again. I pray that the rays of sunshine appears in the darkest depths of your mind, body and soul. Better days are still coming and always remember the best is yet to come. Another day on earth is another chance to get it right. He has not given up on you nor should you give up on yourself. The trials and persecutions are only temporary. The rain shall have no reign over you. Again hold on to the foundation of his word which is sharper than a two-edge sword. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is also the light in a dark place.

Allow him to be the sunshine in the midst of your rain. The beauty, growth, strength and blossoming into a greater creation will be all worth it. What you waiting for? Today is a new day ♥

The Mini Lessons & Themes of Watching Black Panther

Normally, I don’t really blog about movies. But just like the Karate Kid and many others, the Lord can use movies to give you messages. (Sometimes even cartoons). The movie was nothing less than amazing. The actresses and actors all did an outstanding job. The movie also kept the audience interest and attention throughout the entire film. (I hope that they do another sequel). If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend and suggest that you do. Bring your entire family if possible :).

There are many lessons but I am just going to point a few out that are not in any particular order:

Everyone wants a title, but titles come with a lot of responsibilities. Kings and Queens are not just there to appear “cute”. Kings and Queens have presence. There is a certain manner, honor and respect that they must conduct themselves in however, it’s not just about image. Kings and Queens have a lot of responsibilities and pressure upon them. They have power, but a lot of pressure and the weight of the kingdom upon them. When you are a boss or CEO, you not only have the pressures of the livelihood of the company upon your back, but the external issues that can effect the environment in which can come against the business. You must have the intellect, wisdom, knowledge and heart to do whats best to protect the people and your company. You must always be a quick thinker, problem solver and risk taker because things do not always go as plan. The bible says in Luke 12:48: “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more“. Can you handle the sacrifices, challenges and the requirements that comes with a higher position of power?

Never forget where you came from. Sometimes when we make progress and can be in a season where we may have a little more than our previous seasons. Although you may not be where you want to be and its better than where you were, its important to still remember the struggles and challenges in where it took to get there. Don’t leave the people who were there for you in your humble beginnings. Use your blessings and resources to help someone else even when you don’t have much. (Even if that means volunteering, donating clothes, money or buying lunch for someone). It doesn’t take much just do what you can do. It is written in Matthew 25:35-36: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me”.

Loyalty. (This is another chapter and topic that I would have to expand on one day). As matter of fact I think I will :). The loyalty within the community as a whole should be so strong, that they are willing to perish for it. (#Wakandaforever). A kingdom can fall from division lies, secrets and unloyalty. For example, what keeps a city functioning? The people. What keeps a city flourishing? The people. What keeps a successful business thriving? The people. You cannot buy true loyalty and honor. Even when people who disguise themselves as friends in your inner circle betray you, there should just be a few remnant of real loyal people to fight for your behalf. Even if there isn’t, God will fully vindicate you and fight for you, for the battle is not yours. The people who are the closest to you as well as family members can be some of the most dangerous wolves in sheep’s clothing. Again this will have to be a chapter all by itself. Ask God for the ability to discern and the strength to distant yourself. If a person is not loyal to God, he/she will not be loyal to you. Loyalty is what keeps a power dominion of fruitful relationships, establishments and wealth. It is one of the qualities and characteristics that will help a community prosper in all areas.  It is written in Proverbs 17:17: “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity”. Proverbs 18:24: “A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother”. Matthew 26:35: “Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples”.

Bitterness. This needs to be a blog topic all by itself, but I will touch on it since it is one of the many themes/lessons of the movie. What doesn’t heal within you will destroy you. No matter how strong or powerful you are, if you do not work on yourself nor get the necessary amount of help that you need for your healing, (Which is not over night, but takes time). Not only will you destroy the relationships around you but you die from the poison that is inside of you. What may have happened was not fair and ruthless, but you are not victim. You are more than a conqueror. Please do whatever you have to do in order to get the healing you need. Please spend time with your creator. Don’t be upset with him, instead pull closer. You are a walking ministry and a vessel who can be used to help others to become delivered out of those same traps. Don’t become a trophy for the wrong team. It is written in 1 Samuel 1:10: “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”. Job 21:25: “And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure”.

Kings want strong women. The king was surrounded by powerful and articulate women. This is definitely a topic to tackle by itself in which I will cover soon. (Whether in a blog or book). He had strong and loyal women that could help him through his mission/assignments. Again Kings don’t run from strong women, they gravitate towards them. A king is very confident and secure within himself and does not feel like your brilliance, personality, presence or accomplishments is a threat to his ego, instead it compliments who he is. Kings are not intimidated by strong women, instead they are interested in someone who can bring so much to offer to the table. Queens brings so much more to the table than appearance, clothes and materialism. An insecure man runs from strong women, kings don’t. Kings like challenges and they are not ran off by them. It is written in Proverbs 31:10: “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies”.

Be the Best You that You can Be!

It’s important to be yourself. If God has called you to do something, then you must do it. There will always be obstacles and challenges along the way. You cannot allow the fear of others or what may happen to deter you from what you have been called to do. The jealousy and the lack of support will come. There will be people who will not be able to continue the journey with you. These are all of the things and events that will occur. See it not a strange thing. It is all an indication that you are walking in the right path. You cannot make everyone happy neither is it your assignment to do so. Some people can become uncomfortable and intimidated by what you have to offer.

The greatness on your life is so strong that you don’t need the numbers, approval nor validation from man in order to continue to pursue God’s will for your life. This is not regarding nor referring to material/financial possession, but his purpose. No matter what constant changes you may face, endure until the end. Your steps are still ordered no matter how many times you have fallen off. Endure until the end. Be faithful over a few things, so he can make you a great ruler of many. The capacity and the amount of responsibility that he wants to entrust you will be greater, so the process may appear slower for you than most people. Endure until the end. The waiting time is a training ground that you must use to prepare yourself for whats to come. Anything worth having will not be easy, again endure until the end. Be the best you, you can be. You were made for this!

Matthew 24:13: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved“.

1 Peter 4:12: “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you”.

Proverbs 18:24 “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother“.

You can’t quit!

Sometimes God will take you through the process that seems to be slower and tiring because it feels like that’s not the way to generate “fast” results. If you stick with the way he wants you to go and faint not, then the reward will be greater. It will be worth it!*

If you are going to be great, then there are certain tests that you must endure and pass. There is a certain amount of trials, tribulations and pain that you must push through. Do not become distracted and side track on whats happening for other people. You cannot compare yourself to everyone else, because not everyone else is going where you are going. There will be some people who you will have to leave behind. There are some old ways and thinking that you must destroy in order to get to the next level. Whatever you are enduring, it is all for a purpose. God has not forgotten about you. You don’t have to see or feel God in order to know that he is there. (Especially when things appear to not go your way). He’s teaching you how to be stronger and wiser.

He’s teaching you how to overcome your failures, struggles, disappointments and rejections until you won’t even flinch in the face of opposition. Waiting will build development, growth and improvement. Greatness cannot be rushed. You will reach a stage in life where the amount of suffering will not have any affect or impact on you continuing your walk. Sometimes the strongest thing that you can do is to keep walking in the midst of failure. Jog or crawl if you have to, but don’t give up. You cannot win if you give up. This fight and walk is not for everyone. See it not strange if you are on a narrow path. The Lord has chosen you to be different. It’s not easy and it’s challenging, but at the end it will be all worth it. ♥

1 Peter 4:12-13

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Stay True to Who you Are

Hold on to your faith and patience. It will pay off in full measure. Time always helps us to grow and prepares us for what’s coming. Anything worth having will not come easy. Your sacrifices will make you appreciate and value the blessings that’s coming. There are so many people in this world who have everything yet, they have no joy, peace and happiness. Some are just going through the motions of life. They look alive on the outside but they are dead on inside. Keep walking through the process that God has for you. Don’t force your come up. There is so much greatness in you. Don’t allow anyone to make you feel bad just because they are in their season of opportunity.

There are some people with egos and low-key narcissist (with many insecurities) that will disguise themselves as if they are “humble” but will sow negative seeds of energy and words to discourage you. No one can curse what God has decided to bless. No one can kill what God wants alive.  They may be walking in their season of opportunity and reaping their harvest, but it may not be on the level on where God wants to take you. He that hath an ear, let him hear.

God uses everything for a purpose. Even when you run into negative energy and people, he will still use that to encourage you to do more. He will still use that for your good. Your steps are ordered. Your foundation will be strong and solid. There are some things that you must experience and go through before you receive what God has in store. Stay true to you. Through all the struggles, pressures, failures, tears and pain you must press through. What God has for you is for you. Don’t allow another person or situation to distract you from the greatness that God has poured in you. Greatness causes intimidation. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

Missing Out on What???

Walking a narrow path isn’t easy. It also comes with much obedience, sacrifice, discipline and commitment. When walking this path, it is important to stay focus and faithful even until the end. When you are walking on a narrow path don’t fall into any traps of deception by thinking you’re missing out on something. Allow God to keep you in perfect peace. Keep your thoughts on him. Don’t waste the years of your life by conforming. That’s time and energy that you can’t get back.

The lie that the enemy will try to display is that your missing out on the “fun” (the pleasures of sin). Please don’t believe the lie and the mindset that everyone’s doing it. That is deception. Don’t fall for the bait or trap. Guard your heart and affections. God’s protection is a blessing and it will save you from so much unnecessary trouble. Put on the full armor of God. He will preserve you. He will do whatever he can to protect his best. It’s an honor to be on God’s mind so much, that he’s not willing to allow you to go through that path of destruction. It will always appear as rejection, but it’s really protection so you can truly receive his best in any area of your life. Romans 8:25: says “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it”.  Always remember that the best is yet to come. ♥

Please don’t get weary and bow. Stay out of danger. Someone is counting on you to be different. Hebrews 11:25 mentions that the pleasures of sin are for a season. Stay true to who he called you to be. Despite the pressures of reality, your obedience, devotion, sacrifice and commitment will pay off. The enemy will make a lie appear as the truth. You’re not missing out on anything that you “must” have. Allow God to build your patience so when you finally receive, your foundation will be stronger. Your time is coming 🙂

He Did Not Forsake You: Keep Fighting

It’s important to leave all old things behind. All former things have passed away. Remove all negative energy and distractions. If you fall, always get back up. The enemy’s plan is for you to get discouraged and to give up. Always remember that giving up is not an option. He will make a lie more believable and appealing than the truth. Sometimes the lie will appear as the truth, but that’s why you must hold on to God’s word. There will be many times in where it will look as if God has forsaken you, but that’s only lie. Hang on and hold on to God’s promises. Fight for your happiness, joy and peace ♥.

Allow him to strengthen you in your weakest moments. Don’t stop believing in the dreams and visions that he gave you just because it hasn’t came to past yet. He is not a man that shall lie. Allow him to restore your vision even if it has gotten a little blurry. Refresh and renew your mind. Have the fight and strength to get back up. Have the courage to keep going. Through your failure keep going. Through pain and rejection keep going. He is still with you. Your current reality does not determine where you will stay. Fight for your vision, dreams and goals. Enjoy the journey along the way. His plan is perfect although it won’t feel perfect. (Sometimes it will look crazy). He is not only testing your faith, but your patience. It will all pay off. Extreme measures equate to extreme blessings. Don’t wait for no one’s affirmation in order to keep going. It’s still going to work out for your good and his glory ♥♥.

Building From the Ground Up

Sometimes it’s important to start fresh. Building from the ground up is not easy. It’s much more difficult than starting with a template or blueprint. There are going to be a countless amount of trial and errors along the way. Building from the ground up also requires more faith and patience. (Since most of the time it won’t be overnight). Once the final product is finished and established, it will be worth all the hard work, effort, risk and commitment you invested. Your hard work and seeds of faith will pay off.

Don’t get discouraged because it didn’t happen in your timing. God always does things in decency and order. He does everything in perfection. There is no need to rush your come up. Your too special to be rushed! Remember he is always on time. When your building from the ground up, don’t be surprise when there are some people who won’t support or help you. This is to only test the motives and the intentions of those who are around you. He is sparing you from the leeches.

What better way to expose someone’s motives when you are in the beginning stages of pursing your dreams, passion, goals or vision? (This can refer to careers, businesses, relationships and education etc.). Everybody is with you during the stages of success, but can they hang during the times when there is no harvest? Be thankful and grateful unto God that he is showing you and revealing who is truly for you. This also makes you aware of the real reasons why you are doing what you love. If there were no financial gain nor reward for it, would you still be able to carry out with his assignment and will for your life?

Yes, there will be days of frustration. Yes, there will be days in where you will wake up and ask yourself is it worth it? Yes, there will be days in where quitting looks good but I’m here to tell you, DON’T GIVE UP! You can’t and you have no option. That shall not be spoken of nor thought of. You shall fill your mind with his words of truth and peace. The devil cannot win. Don’t allow even the smallest doubt in your mind. Remember that he will not put more on you than you can bear. You can handle the pressure and challenge.

The blessings that comes from building from the ground up without any help, is that you do not owe anyone anything. All credit goes to God. It also removes all the people who only want to connect with you because of what you have or what you are affiliated with. It teaches you how to fully trust and rely on God.

Whatever it is that you may be building from the ground up, always know that God is with you every step of the way. It may not be easy and it will be painful at times, but he will be by your side. Again, do not be discouraged. It shall come to pass, it shall come to pass!! Amen.

Make ALL Things NEW Again!

Here are the words of the LORD. This is just a brief message. Hope all can be encouraged!

Behold, I have come to make all things new again. Every pain, hurt and tear shall be washed away. I will heal your scars and I will heal away your wounds. I will remove all of the scars from your childhood/past. I will shut the mouth of the nay sayer saith the LORD. They shall eat their words. There will be a newness and a freshness in you that I will restore. I take and I give. I uplift; I destroy. I am the LORD and I am your GOD. Listen to the words that I will put into your heart my child. I will never leave you, give up on you; NOR FORSAKE YOU. Do not give up on me my child.The best is still yet to come! Your faith and your confidence shall be restored and renewed. In Jesus mighty name, amen! ♥

It is written in Revelation 21:4: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away”.

Expand Your Vision

Speak life into your vision. Speak those things as though they were. Keep saying it until you see it. God will sometimes test you to see if you still hang on to his word and promise when things are going in an opposite direction. It’s all test of your faith. The harder the test the bigger the reward. Extraordinary people go through extraordinary things. Expand your vision according to where you’re going and not by where you are. Where you are currently in life is just a prerequisite to get to where you’re going. The LORD is looking for unmovable faith. He is pleased by faith. There is something that is connected to your purpose in your everyday routine. (Even if you don’t have one or if nothing is happening). Trust God by showing him your patience and faith. He will rekindle your strength.

Water your vision with positive and supportive people. Don’t allow anyone or anything to hinder your growth that is not of the will of God. You will be able to travel new heights and new levels that most people have not seen before. There is something that he wants to reveal to you on a higher level but you must trust him. Expand your vision when you are walking on blind faith. Don’t allow your vision to be blurry but increased with clarity and sharpness. Take little leaps of faith that will make you closer to your goals. Allow your vision to expand to new heights and measures.

It is written in Habakkuk 2:2 – “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”. It is also written in Proverbs 29:18 – “Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he”.
