The Small things do Matter

color-full-clouds-1499701

Never despise the day of humble beginnings. Everything is a preparation for where he wants to take you. Always remember that the small things are just as important as the big things. Everything starts with a seed. The slow process may feel or seem insignificant, but they are the steps that are necessary to get to the promise. They are important pieces that will work together for the good. Before Joseph became the king of Egypt, God put him in charge over Potiphar’s house and over the prison. God was trusting him with the small things before he could rule over a nation. Can God trust you over the small things? Before he can take you to the promise, you must pass the test when it looks like everything is not working out in your favor (As matter fact, its really when everything looks worse). Follow God’s voice of instruction and he will not lead you astray. It’s the little things that turns into big things.

Again, don’t be discouraged, for the time will come when you will see how it will come together. Sometimes it will look like God is taking you backwards. He will even almost take everything away, so he can see what you would be able do with nothing (Remember Job). This is the road that builds great leaders. Your struggles are a prerequisite in order to get to where you need to be. This will not be for everybody. You must understand that some people are comfortable with just enough. Not everyone is willing to go the extra mile of progression. It would mean getting out of their comfort zones, the possibility of failure, embarrassment and becoming talked about.

The greatest leaders have to endure those factors and more. It was the small things that they had to handle before they were entrusted with any form of responsibility and authority. For example, before David was a King he was a Shepard over sheep. Before he defeated Goliath, he defeated a Lion. God will always send you a test to prepare you for where your going. Again, can he trust you with the small things?

Misunderstood??

What a wonderful thing it is to be misunderstood. Many people see the disadvantages of being misunderstood, however it can be quite a blessing. Being misunderstood can mean that you are marked as one of God’s own. Your just meant to be different which is a special sign from God. Everything that God favors is different and unique. Everyone is not meant to understand you. This an advantage so that you can know who you are in his likeness and greatness. If he has marked you as his, prepare to go through persecution. Marvel not if the world hates you. Although there are challenges of being misunderstood, it draws you closer to God. Being misunderstood can also mean that you are set a part and that you are in another league of your own. If you spend your time on this earth trying to be understood and accepted by everyone, then you will spend the rest of your life chasing their acceptance. You cannot please everybody. Every biblical character was misunderstood in some way as well as JESUS. He will provide you with his strength, wisdom, power, knowledge and understanding.

It is written in Exodus 31:3: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

He Will Make A Way Out of No Way!

stock-photo-51226536-forest-road-sunset-sunbeams

Just as he made a way for the children of Israel, so shall he make it for you. God never goes back on his word. His promises are true. His plans are mysterious and his strategies are beyond human comprehension. No one can truly figure out God. There is nothing predictable about him. He blesses us in different ways. You may be looking for him to do something he did before, when he is going to bless you in another way. He shall do a new thing in you. Everything that crashed and burned shall be restored. It may have been impossible with man, but with God all things shall be possible. Every fail attempt will become a story that is a part of your success. Remember that God is going to do everything he has said he’s going to do. You may not have receive what you wanted during the time you expected, but he will always come on time. No matter how impossible things may seem, feel or look, remember that he shall make a way out of no way. He shall multiply and expand what little offering that you have left.

It is written in 1 Kings 17:12-16 that:

And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.

This is Only the Beginning: Be Encouraged

a-new-day-1542580

Always believe that the best is always yet to come. There will be so many open doors in your journey. Fret not about what hasn’t worked out, for when the time comes, it will all come together. It shall come to full circle. None of your experiences shall go to waste. God is always in the control, which means nothing does not happen without his permission. He is all-knowing. Only he holds the key to the door of your future. No matter how powerful someone’s ranking, authority and title, remember that everything comes from God. He is the door and the manna. That means all opportunities and blessings are from him no matter whom he may use. When you feel that no one will give you a fair chance, please remember that God is the source, so there is no need to be discouraged. All credit and glory shall go to him and no other. No matter what trials you may endure there is better along the way. You are not a failure because you failed in some way (as we all do time to time). Closed doors are just as important as open doors. Come now and rejoice, for this is only the beginning of the great things to come! Be not discouraged, for there are so many people who will be reached through the power of your testimony ♥

Speak Those Things As though They Were

divine-vision-1404671

Speak those things as though they were. Your words should be a reflection of your future. It’s important to speak what you want into existence. Your words have power and they even have the ability to determine what you will attract. The wrong words can terminate the blessing that’s ahead. Don’t block your blessings with the wrong words. We must walk by faith and not by sight. It is written in Proverbs 15:4 that A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit”. Your words have the ability to tear down or lift up. Don’t talk yourself out of your own blessing. You have come too far to allow the wrong thinking, attitude or words to hinder you. Your vision and words should be aligned together. Keep speaking it, until you see it. There is a reason why you are in a particular season in your life. The best is on the way, for with God nothing shall be impossible!

Don’t Become Blind: Learning from Mistakes

mistakes

What has your experiences in life taught you? Mistakes along the way will occur and happen, but what’s important is that we learn from them. It is foolish to go through particular situations, but become blinded on the message that God wants you see. We cannot repeat the same thing and receive different results. What benefit does it serve you to repeat the same thing over and over. We dishonor ourselves, we waste time and we sadden our spirit. If God has deliver you from something, why return back? Get out of the mud. Allow him to cleanse you with his holy power.

It is written in Proverbs 26:11: “As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly”.

Experience can come with wisdom. His wisdom is a gift to avoid certain potholes in the road. There are some things that you don’t have to go through if you have his wisdom. Again do not become blind in the very thing he wants you to get and receive. Learning from your mistakes allows you to move on to the next level in where he wants to take you. Transformed and renew your mind and allow him to create in you a clean heart.

Satisfied Sunday: What are Your Intentions?

Satisfied Sunday’s: Beware of Doing the Right thing for the Wrong Reasons

What does that statement mean? In life, we strive to push ourselves to the limit in certain areas. We can work ourselves to death and not see any fruit come forth. (In the timing of when we want to see the results). We can be so busy and driven that we do not have the time to rest. We can also lose focus on what really matters and counts. Do not get caught up in doing something for the wrong reasons.

Make sure your intentions are pure. We can easily focus on the talent, money, stats, impressing people and protocol and forget all about Jesus. Can you imagine how people want to be seen doing what’s right, but in their hearts they never meant it? Nothing matters without Jesus. Your energy and effort is all futile if he is not in the center of your focus.

Sometimes people can befriend you because they have “a different agenda”. While all the time you thought that they were there for you, instead it was for another reason. Matthew 6:2: Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward”.

If you operate in doing things with an ulterior motive, then your foundation will come a part. There is no foundation without Jesus. If you do not put Jesus in everything you do, you are only working for yourself. Ask God to create in you a clean heart, so that he is able to guide you on the direction that he wants to take you. Ask can your desire be pure and to not become entangled up in Satan’s web of performance.”  May God bless you and may you continue to get better and better each day ♥

1 Step at a Time (Change)

change

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD. Progress takes time. Everything is a process. Everything has a particular time and setting. Whenever you are in a process there are steps and transitions to getting where you want to be. Real change does not happen overnight or within 24 hours. Begin with small changes. If you can not walk in the steps, then crawl if you have to. (Remember everything is a process). After crawling, you may fall while your walking, but continue to get back up. Believe or not falling is a part of the process. When you are able to stand and walk, then you can jog. After jogging you will be able to finally run.

Real change is not smooth, but sometimes uncomfortable. Your pathway was designed for you to not only overcome, but to strive as the winner you are. Remove the negative thoughts and all forms of hindrance that’s fighting your progress to change. Everything including dreams, accomplishments, dating and etc. begins with a step. Take things one step at a time, real change is not overnight.  It is written in Proverbs 4:12: “When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble“.
