Who Are You?: Know Your Worth

Who are you? It’s a question that people ask even until the end of their lives. It’s not a question that can be easily answered despite the life experiences that one must go through and endure. It’s not answered by popularity, your past, riches, nor flattery. It’s not something you can seek from the pleasures of this world, which will surely fade and give you unrest. The pleasures of this world will deteriorate your soul as a moth destroys clothes. You can have everything going on from the outside and still feel absolutely empty on the inside. You can look like you have the perfect peace, but your spirit may be broken into pieces. Everything is not what it appears or seem. Your worth cannot be defined through material things and other people’s affirmation. You have to find who you are and not through the words of other people. You are who God says you are. Once you know the truth, it shall set you free. Please know your worth and who you are. Do not compromise your dignity, value, honor, respect and integrity. Only God can give you the answer if you seek him above all else.

It is written in Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

As so it was with Moses, the Lord will guide your footsteps and directions all of the days of your life. He has the answers to the question, Who are you? No one else has the key to unlock that answer.

His Grace is Sufficient

It is written in 2 Corinthians 12:19 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

We don’t deserve his grace or mercy yet, he still gives us another chance to get back up. There are times when we feel unworthy or even inadequate when walking in his calling. We look at all the reasons why we can’t. Allow God to lead each step of the way even when you must demonstrate the blind faith of Abraham.

Stop thinking about how you may not have the qualifications, experience, time, money and resources to do his will. He will always provide a way out of no way. Remember that you have everything you need, just allow him to guide the way. It is written in Proverbs 24:16, For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. No matter what sins you have committed in the past, present, and future, please know that his grace is sufficient.

There is no sin that is too great that can separate you from his love. (Although we should not take his grace for granted, because there is time when grace runs out) It is written in Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
