Be Careful What You Pray For

When we pray, sometimes we want God to answer our most inner questions, wants or request. God’s timing is always different from our timing. That means if you prayed for something and it hasn’t  come to pass yet, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t answered it. As matter of fact, you are on the path that will lead to your answer. Even when it doesn’t look or feel like it.

For instance, someone can pray that God will send them a good mate. Let’s say years go by and they still haven’t seen God’s promise but only seen dead ends. The greater the wait, the greater the blessing. God knows that there is a process they must go through before they see it come to pass. That trail will come with delayed timing, frustration, pain, judgement, discouragement, rejection, the wrong people who come and go in their lives and etc. If you ask for a good mate then he will send them, but you got to go through the process. There are no shortcuts. It won’t be easy and it will come with a sacrifice. The same thing applies to opportunities and career advancement. There is something that you must be willing to give up, in order to receive God’s best.

You must make room for the new. You cannot keep old furniture in your house while trying to make room for the new furniture.

Be careful what you pray for, because there is a process you must endure to get your prayers answered. Never allow your faith to be distinguished, but instead replenished.

The Illusion of Ideas

Everything Is not what it appears or seems. Do not fall into the trap of illusions. It’s going to take more than feelings and the idea of a situation in order to sustain through the tough times. If you make a life decision based on the artificial or idea, it will crumble a part. It’s so much more work, dedication, focus, and commitment than what it appears on the outside. The intensity and urgency of a situation will take much more than just the illusion of feelings and ideas. It will also take more than the desire. Use the eyes of the spirit and not the eyes of the natural. Some times God is protecting you, when you don’t get your way.

Find it not a strange thing when God does not give you what you want when you want it. Don’t follow the trend of what everyone is doing. Don’t allow what others are doing to cloud your judgement. This is your path. Trends eventually fades. You must remain faithful to who you are until the end. What’s for everyone may not be for you at the moment. God has a special plan your life. He always saves the best for last. Focus on his word and his voice. Not the other voices in the background nor illusions.

Who Are You?: Know Your Worth

Who are you? It’s a question that people ask even until the end of their lives. It’s not a question that can be easily answered despite the life experiences that one must go through and endure. It’s not answered by popularity, your past, riches, nor flattery. It’s not something you can seek from the pleasures of this world, which will surely fade and give you unrest. The pleasures of this world will deteriorate your soul as a moth destroys clothes. You can have everything going on from the outside and still feel absolutely empty on the inside. You can look like you have the perfect peace, but your spirit may be broken into pieces. Everything is not what it appears or seem. Your worth cannot be defined through material things and other people’s affirmation. You have to find who you are and not through the words of other people. You are who God says you are. Once you know the truth, it shall set you free. Please know your worth and who you are. Do not compromise your dignity, value, honor, respect and integrity. Only God can give you the answer if you seek him above all else.

It is written in Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

As so it was with Moses, the Lord will guide your footsteps and directions all of the days of your life. He has the answers to the question, Who are you? No one else has the key to unlock that answer.

Can You Handle The Hate?

When God has place a special calling upon your life and when he has blessed you with the crown of favor, can you handle the opposition that will come with it? With every opportunity comes with opposition. There are challenges that comes with being chosen. Some people will do anything to tear you down. (Sometimes even the people closest to you, take Joseph for exampleIt is an indication that God has selected and hand-picked you as his own. It is an honor from God. Hate, envy, and bitterness are spiritual cancers that has the power destroy blessings. Are you strong enough to deal with the conflict and challenges of being hated  for no reason? Are you able to brush off the dust of betrayal, rejection, lies and deceit?  It takes the spirit, strength & wisdom of God to stand in the midst of the battle that’s not yours. Everything does not deserve your attention, time and energy. Do not give them any power. You are on another level. When the hand of God is upon your life, a response is not necessary. It will all be taken care of in due time. Real discipline is not giving into your feelings. Allow God to be your vindicator over ALL situations. He will show you what to do in the midst of pressure. Trust in him who will never fail or forsake you. Through trails and persecutions, he shall always be there even until the end of time.

Do you Have Power Over Your Emotions?

A part of becoming a great leader is to have control of your emotions. Do you master your emotions? Whatever you don’t have control of is what will control you. Do not allow your emotions to dictate your actions , behavior, or words. Mastering your emotions is a skill of controlling your flesh. Mastering your emotions also takes discipline. It takes time and practice. Following your emotions and heart will lead you astray. It can cause you to make the wrong decisions. Emotions can blind you from the truth as well as from wisdom. It is written in Proverbs 3:5 to Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Follow the voice of the Lord who will not lead you astray. Do not put things into your own hand. Allow God to handle everything his way, his time and on his terms.

Lean not unto thy own understanding

It Shall Come to Pass

Your hard work and devotion will not be wasted. Continue to strive for what you believe in. You shall have whatever you say. Speak it in existence for the power of life and death are in the tongue. Speak life over your dreams, plans, goals and inspirations. Remember God is not a man that shall lie. Neither has he forgotten about you. Don’t over calculate and analyze things, allow God to have full total control in directing your pathway. The road to righteousness is narrow, so is the road to success. Not too many people are willing to go through with the threat of failure and the pot holes in the road towards success. God timing is perfect. More precise than any man on this earth. Waiting is the most important part of the process. God will never put more on you than you can bear. Have you ever thought that maybe some things haven’t come to pass yet because you’re not ready. (Although we always think we are) We should appreciate these moments of waiting because it builds our strength, faith, and preparation.  When the time comes for your season to arrive, you shall be ready. Whatever God has spoken, so shall it be. It shall come to pass.

Restoration

God can always fix what’s been broken. He is the ultimate restorer and healer. He can restore everything that you lost. Your experience will never be wasted. Everything will come together for the good. That means every mistake, wrong doing and trial will be used for your advantage to glorify his kingdom. It is written in Joel 2:25 that I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. He can restore back your joy, health, dreams, relationships and finances. He can restore the years of drought into the years of plenty. Your experiences are never about you. It’s about helping someone else to become set free from the same challenges that you endured. God will always use what you been through as a testimony to others. Open your mind, heart and spirit to receive him today. He shall give you double for the trouble. He shall give you beauty for your ashes.

Let it Flow: Don’t Try to Figure it All Out

Before the foundations of the world, God had already planned out your life. Do not stress the details or the minor things that do not matter. When the appropriate time comes, your gift will make room for you. Hard work and pressure will come along the way, but do not see it as a “job”. Envision it as an assignment. Envision it as purpose. Envision it as a mission. He will not withhold any good thing from you, for what’s for you, is for you. Don’t over think and analyze things. Just allow your gift to flow. Don’t taint your gift through the feeling of worry. The Bible says Worry Not. Faith and worry cannot reside in the same place. Allow your gift to flow from your spirit, not by what other people want. If you stay true to who you are, you are saying to yourself that you will allow God to take control. Allow him to be your guide and direction in the midst of frustration and confusion. You were not meant to figure everything out. God has you right where he wants you. He is all-knowing and omniscient. He knows what to add and take away in your life. He knows where to place you as well the timing. Allow your gift to flow from the seeds of God’s love, righteousness, purity and faith. Let God be in full control and watch him move in your life.

Is It Worth It?

Sometimes God puts you in certain situations to prepare you for where your going. Sometimes he puts you in particular situations to measure your growth. Trials also brings you closer to God, for it is a blessing to suffer for him. Have you measured your personal and spiritual progress? Everyone has imperfections but it does not mean we should not strive for perfection because it is written in 1 Peter 1:16 (KJV):  Be Holy for I am Holy. How far have you come along?  You may not be where you want to be, but you are not where you used to be. Not giving into the flesh takes discipline and power. Delayed gratification is better than instant gratification. Do not give into the impurities of your heart. Do not give into any sins of the flesh or spirit. There is a reason that God chose you, for it is written in Luke 12:48: For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required. When you are called and chosen by God, the path you walk will be narrow. Everything you have endured will pay off in due time. Think about the next time when you are in a tempting situation, Is it Worth it? Is it worth losing your temper, honor, virtue and dignity over something or someone who isn’t worth it?  The price of sin is too high to pay for. God will honor and reward you for doing his will. He is not a man that shall lie. His love is unmeasurable and he will lead you on the right path. Do not allow anyone to sacrifice your honor. It is better to suffer for the sake of righteousness than for the sake of doing wrong. When looking in the mirror in the depths of your soul, ask yourself, is it worth it? Luke_1248

Focus on God

Stop worrying and concentrating on things that do not matter. It’s a waste of time and energy. Allow things to fall in place during its proper timing, for timing is everything. Anything or anyone who does not have anything to do with purpose, is insignificant. It is nothing more than a distraction. That’s why it’s important to guard your heart’s affections. Focus on your progress and growth. Great things take time and not overnight. Focus on what really matters. Be not alarmed by what hasn’t come to pass yet. You are on schedule. Don’t focus on anything that is not going where your going, for everything does not deserve your attention. Remember to focus on what matters. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but his word shall not.
